Certification: I am certified to teach grades PK-8. I am Highly Qualified
to teach all subjects in the elementary grades as well as middle-school
language arts. I am also Highly Qualified in technology.
Teaching Experience: My teaching career began in Virginia, where I taught
3rd and 5th grades. After I moved to Tennessee, I taught 3rd grade at
Kenwood Elementary for six years, 6th grade Reading and Science at Dover Elementary for one
year, and 5th grade Science and Social Studies at Erin Elementary for one year. I taught 8th grade
reading and language for six years at Montgomery Central Middle School. This is my fifth year at
Byrns Darden.
