I am a life long native of Cookeville. As a child, I attended Capshaw
Elementary School which I have many fond memories. I graduated from Tennessee
Technological University in 1991 with a B.S. in Elementary Education. I began
my teaching career at Sycamore Elementary School. I taught third grade for
seven years before staying home with my children. This is my eighth year at
Capshaw and I absolutely love it.
I am married to Danny Smith who is a pharmacist at Cookeville Regional
Medical Center. We have two children, Addie who is a sophomore at the high
school and Drake who is in seventh grade.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to work with your child. We are
going to have a great year.
