Dear Students and Parents,
This is my 20th year of teaching- all at Capshaw! I have a B.S. degree
from Tennessee Tech in Elementary Education. I have a Masters degree from TTU
in Curriculum and Instruction. I also have ESL (English as a
Second Language) certification. I am currently working on becoming a
Nationally Board Certified teacher. I have taught both first and second grades.
I was born in Cookeville and attended elementary and high school in
Baxter. My husband, Mark, and I have a 15 year old son named Cameron who is a
sophomore at Cookeville High School. We also have a dog named Belle. We are
members of Poplar Grove Baptist Church, and I work with the children's Church
program there.
I feel so blessed to be able to teach at Capshaw. I just know we are
goingto have a wonderful year!
