Parents,
Please check your child's grades on Power School on the internet. I record
grades as a group after I check assignments, quizzes, etc. If students turn
papers and projects in later than requested, for whatever the reason may be,
sometimes I forget to go back into the system and correct that on my Power
School grades, even though I have changed them on my gradebook. If you see a
grade about which you are concerned, ask your child about it. If I have made
a mistake in recording the grades, and that is very possible, I am always
willing to check and correct my mistake. I tell the kids to always double
check my grading and recording of their grades because I am very capable of
making mistakes, but always willing to make things right.

Parents, Each day assignments are recorded on the white board and students
are encouraged to record assignments in their personal planners. If your
child comes home without a planner or a planner that has not "seen action"
please discuss the importance of recording assignments. I ask students to
record the words no assignment if no assignment is needed.
