February 14-Love to Read and Valentine party-PJs and slippers, blanket or
sleeping bag, a good book, and a candy bar. Valentine party is at 2 in my room.
February 17-Jump Rope for Heart-Donate at $1 to jump in this event at school.
The top money raisers will jump at TTU in the morning. Money is due 15th.

April 20-Family, Fun, and Fitness Night. Parents, the Family Involvement
Committee is looking now for parents who work in any profession health,
nutrition, or sport related. If you would like to help with a center that
night, please let me know. It was a lot of fun last year!
Capshaw is participating in an important district initiative called
School-wide Positive Behavior. We have adopted a unified set of rules for our
entire school. Similar to past rules, these rules define our expectations for
behavior for students while at school. You will see these rules posted
throughout the school and the school grounds. Your child will be learning
these rules during the first few days and weeks of school. These rules are
for all students and all staff in all settings. It is not a program or
curriculum. It is an approach to creating a safe and productive learning
environment where teachers can teach and students can learn.
