How long should we be spending on homework every night?
I will try to only send about 30 minutes of homework every night. For most Friday nights there will not be any math homework. Over the weekend sometime you might want to start thinking about the next week's spelling list and even the multiplication table we will have a quiz on. The first few weeks you might be spending a little more time as they get adjusted to writing math problems and getting into the groove of school. If after the first few weeks your child is have hours of homework please speak to me.Back to Top

Two or three days before a test in either subject, I will send home a study quide. I would use that guide to ask them oral questions or play a game with them. The day before the test we as a class will play some kind of a game to help review for the test as well.Back to Top
