Announcements
For the remainder of the school year, students are allowed to correct any summative grade below 70. Students will receive half credit back up to a grade of 70.
Officer Marcum has begun DARE classes with each homeroom. DARE will be during Encore on the day students would have normally have library. If your child needs to visit the library, please make sure they are at school before 7:45.
Some teachers are missing books from their classroom library. Please have your child check for any books that have a teacher’s name or stamp in it and please return to school. Thank you.
If your child is missing a coat, please check the table in front of the library.
Please check your child’s planner folder daily for any assignments and upcoming tests.
English:
- Run-On Sentences

- Proper Adjectives
- Using Commas
Math:
- I can convert decimals to fractions.

Reading:

- I can analyze instances of real-world conflicts and their resolutions.
*Students should read, from material of their choosing, at least 30 minutes EVERY night.*
*A new vocabulary list is given the first day of every week with a test to follow every Friday.*
Science:
· I can determine the method by which heat energy is transferred from one object or material to another. Heat Energy: Conduction, Convection and Radiation
Social Studies:
This week we will start learning about the three grand divisions of Tennessee.
