Weekly Communication & Learning Targets for Mrs. Cooper 

Be Ready ~ Be Responsible ~ Be Respectful
  • I can Be Respectful by following directions the first time they are given.
  • I can Be Responsible by keeping all my materials organized and completing my work.
  • I can Be Ready by keeping my eyes on the speaker to show them I am being a good listener.
Math Targets

  • I can solve problems using a calendar
  • I can tell time to the minute.
  • I can solve problems involving elapsed time.

Science Targets

  • I can identify objects that are attracted to magnets.
  • I can identify how the direction of a moving object is changed by an applied

Green Graded Folder:  Your child's green graded work folder will be sent home on Tuesdays.  This allows your child time to correct mistakes from the previous week's assessments.  Please review each paper with your child and sign each assessment.  Be sure to return the folder and signed papers the next day.  The "grade" or number on each paper corresponds to the following standards code which will also be on progress reports and report cards:

 


  •      (3)   Proficient = Consistently meets grade level expectations/makes few errors
         (2)   Basic = Partially meets grade level expectations/makes frequent errors
         (1)   Limited = Needs teacher assistance/makes numerous errors
