Earthquakes: The Big Shake Beginning Monday, January 10 Caywood Achieves The big focus for the next few sessions is Earthquakes! You may think they are really rare in our area, and for the moment, they are. But what you may not realize is parts of Tennessee are at risk of damage from impending earthquakes. Check out some of these websites as you gather facts and information you will use throughout our earthquake projects. We'll be researching buildings designed to withstand earthquakes, building our own towers, and then testing them with a specially designed Earthquake Table to see who's building tumble and fall and which ones have only minor damage.
