I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!! We will resume our reading series this week. We have studied all the short vowel sounds. This week we will begin working on long a words. For example....cake, plate, cape. We tell the children that "magic e" at the end of the word gives all it's power to the "a" so she can say her long name. Thank you for all your help!!

For the next few weeks we will continue working on adding a subtracting single digit numbers (7+5=), telling time to the hour and half hour, adding two digit numbers (32+45=), and counting by 5' to 100. Thank you for all the help you give your child.
