Thank you for visiting first grade's web page!
Thanks to all of you who sent treats for American Education Week. You made
us feel very special and appreciated!
Next week we will not begin any new stories. Instead, we will be reviewing
and doing some Thanksgiving activities. We will be making and decorating
Native American vests and dresses out of the pillowcases you sent!
They will come home on Tuesday.
We hope you all have a happy and relaxing Thanksgiving with your families!
Don't Forget...
Please send new crayons and glue sticks to school.
Please practice tying shoes with your child.
November’s AR Pizza Hut Book-It Challenge is 8 books (60% - 80%)!
November 24 - Book orders due
November 26-28 Thanksgiving Break!
December 2 - Kitty Cash Banking Day
Beginning in December each child in our class will have his/her own
Christmas stocking in our classroom! These stockings will hang in the room
until Christmas break. Any treats the children get in the month of December
will go in the stockings and they will get to take them home on the day we
leave for our break. If you would like to send any treats to put in the
students’ stockings, that would be wonderful! Some ideas are candy, pencils,
erasers, glue sticks, crayons, stickers, etc.
We have 18 students in our class.
