About The Teacher

Greetings,
     I am a native Texan.  I have been in Memphis, TN for ten years.  I have 
been happily married to Rev. Michael Forney, Sr.  for 15 years.  God has 
blessed us with an only child, Michael Forney, Jr. who 
is in 4th grade.  He attends Central Day School.

     My Bachelor and Master degrees are from schools in Texas, University of 
North Texas and Amberton University.  

     My favorite dinner is Fried Catfish with raw white onion, Turnip Greens, 
Candid Yams and Hot Water Cornbread.  I also Love Blackend Grilled Chicken 
Salads.  My favorite snack is chips and dip.  My favorite drink is water.  My 
favorite cake is carrot.  I'm allerigic to chocolate.

     I love and cherish family time.  I enjoy being a Wife, Mom, and 
Teacher.  I also enjoy praying and encouraging others, being a friend, 
hiking, reading, scrapbooking, spending time with others, changing my hair 
style, teachable moments, and quiet time. 
     
     My Life scripture is Phiilippians 4:6-9...Be anxious for nothing, but in 
everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests 
be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all 
understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ 
Jesus.....Think on these things, whatever is true, noble, just, pure, 
lovely,...and praiseworthy-meditate of these things.
