Monday, Oct. 26, 5 pm
I actually received as many emails saying they were
ready as I did asking for more time. I am going to
set Thursday as the deadline to bring in leaves. Those
who are ready can go ahead tomorrow or choose to wait
and, instead, work on an in class project - the Animal
Scavenger Hunt poster, which is cutting pictures from
magazines to fit different classifications of animals.
We will just have two projects going on at the same
time and both must be finished by Thursday at the end
of class.

Thanks for your response.

Parents, I gave out the information about the Leaf Art Pictures
before Fall Break and the students were to have their dried and
pressed leaves ready to create pictures at school Tuesday.  I
reminded the students verbally numerous times last week.
However, as I look back over my web pages I just realized
that I did not mention this assignment on my assignment pages.
I would like to hear your comments about how prepared your
child is for this assignment. I definitely want to complete this
project before Friday of this week, but do you (honestly, please)
feel that your child needs another day or two to prepare? If I do
not hear from anyone before school ends Monday, we will go
with the original plans to complete the project Tuesday.

Monday, Oct. 26
We will complete our flower dissection lab today.
Homework: Study the worksheet finished  in class. You
will have a quiz on the parts of the flower tomorrow.
Leaf Art pictures will be made tomorrow! Bring your
