"Happy February"
This will be a short week! We will need to take our phonics quiz, Bible and spelling test on Thursday of this week. There will be no school this Friday or the following Monday.
February is jump rope for heart month. Please help your child if he/she does not know how to jump rope.
I hope you recieved the e-mail on making a valentine box to send in for our valentine exchange. A reminder note will be in the Tuesday Informer.
I am making an end of the year DVD for the class and I would appreciate any pictures that you have taken over the course of the year. You can e-mail them or just send in the pictures.
It's so important that your read with your child every night.
Also help them memorize the phonics charts and math facts. Reading new words comes so much easier when they know the phonics charts.
This semester we will be learning the books of the Bible. We are now memorizing the Old Testament. Your child will need to recite the books along with their Bible verse on Fridays.
This week we are saying; Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah.
