About the Teacher

This is my 13th year teaching Kindergarten.  I taught 2nd grade for 3 years 
and 7th grade for 1 year.  I have been  married for 20 years to Donnie Ellis 
and we have 4 children.  Kayla,19 will be a sophomore attending Austin Peay 
State University in Clarksville, TN. My other 3 children will all be 
attending Dekalb County Schools this year:  Taylor is an 9th grader at DCHS, 
Lynsey is a 3rd grader  John Schuylar is a first grader. Both Lysey and John 
attend Dekalb West School. We have lived in Alexandria for 21 years.
