I was born in Tucson, Arizona, but have lived in Franklin County since I was
ten months old. I went to FC schools from Kindergarten through High School.
I graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor's degree in
Interdisciplinary Studies in 2007. I earned my Master's degree from Middle
Tennessee State University in Administration and Supervision in 2011. I am
currently seeking my Ed.S. degree through Middle Tennessee State University
and plan to graduate in early 2013. I have been teaching at Decherd Elementary
school since 2007.
I have a beautiful wife named April and three wonderful children: Marlayna,
Shane, and Dylan. We are expecting our fourth child, Scarlett Beth, in May
2012. I am looking forward to a great new school year in fifth grade!
The mission of Decherd Elementary School is to provide educational
experiences that will enable “ALL” students to enhance academic achievement
and social development that meets or exceeds grade level proficiency in
preparation for middle school entrance.
