My name is Tonya Sullivan. I was born and raised in Smithville, TN.
My parents are Jim Foutch and Vivian Vickers. I have two brothers Terry and
Tracy Foutch.
I have been married for 19 years to James Sullivan. We have two
daughters, Shay and Mallory Sullivan. We enjoy church activities and sports.
We are involved in softball and golf. Mallory plays travel softbal and Shay
plays golf & fast-pitch for the Dekalb County High School.
I graduated from DCHS in 1984 and from Tennesse Technological University
in 1989. I have been teaching at DeKalb Middle School for 19 years. I enjoy
teaching and I love the students. I have a heart for helping the children be
independent and confident in all that they do.
For all students to be successful in education and have the confidence &
skills to become productive citizens. I wish for every child to be confident
in reading and the understanding of what they read. I feel that this will
give them an extra boost in every aspect of their life both spiritual and
physical. I also hope that each child will grow to have a since of humor and
a walk of kindness in all that they do. Education is a key to growth!
