For 2009-2010 I will teach five sections of eighth grade science. Each
student will have access to a computer disk to download the text book and all
the workbook pages, tests etc. The disk will be sent with the student to
download on his computer and then the disk will be returned to me. When a
student misses a day or days of school he/she can do the same work at home we
did at school on the home computer.
If parents will provide me with their email addresses I will notify them of
upcoming tests and assignment via email. Parents can send me alerts about
student health or other concerns.
I will give a review before each test. If a student has a parent sign the
review testifying they helped the student study I will give the student five
bonus points on the test if they pass the test.
In January each child will complete a Science Fair project that will count
one half of the fourth six weeks grade. It is never too early to start
planning.
