Most homework will be done in class. Test preparation (studying for exams)
will be done at home.
November 10 We began Chapter 7. Section 1 covers the history of discovering
what the atom is and what makes up the atom. Nov 11 we reviewed the previous
day's work and completed a TCAP type review of nine questions. On Nov 12 we
will learn how to use a Periodic Chart to fine Atomic symbol, Atomic Number,
Atomic Mass, Number of protons, Number of Electrons, Number of neutrons. We
will learn about radioactive decay and how it works on Friday. We will do a
lab activity on radio active half life then continue with the handouts, pre
test work etc and test on Thurday Nov 19
