Hello! Important Announcements for the Week of 11/30/09:
What we will be learning:
Math:
On Measurement Monday we will continue to find the area of
parallelograms and introduce how to find the volume of a cube! We will
continue our week by reviewing fraction concepts using our fun
fraction kits.
Science:
We will explore the physical and chemical properties of matter as well as the
various states of matter.
Social St:
This week is filled with discovering how a bill becomes a law! Cool! We will
wrap up this week with our Chapter 10 test on Friday, December 4th.
1. School Dance is from 3:15-5:00 on Friday after school! I will be
chaperoning for any parents who want to join :). Students may purchase a
ticket for $6 on Wednesday and Thursday during lunch. Students may also
purchase a ticket at the door on Friday (Dec. 4th) for $7. Help your angel
get his/her dancing shoes on, this should be a great time!
2. I am in desperate need of Clorox Wipes for our classroom, I will be so
grateful if anyone out there is able to donate any type of disinfecting
wipe...it's that yucky time of year.
3. Friday Folders and Two Week Check Ups will be coming home this
Friday...please keep your eyes open for them :)!
4. Remember to check Gradespeed for any updates on your child's progress :).
5. Students are to come to school in Standard School Attire each day unless
it is announced otherwise. If nothing is said on the Thursday announcements,
then standard school attire is expected on Friday.
****Please Remember: Assignments other than quizzes/tests may be "re-done"
at home over the weekend and turned in Monday morning for an updated grade.
