Hello! Important Announcements for the Week of 11/09/09:
What we will be learning:
Math:
We will be finding the area of irregular shapes on Measurement
Monday, introduce finding the Greatest Common Factor of 2 numbers, as well
as continuing to work with fractions this week in Math.
Science:
VSVS will be exploring Polymers with us this week! They will be making
sandwich sized bags of slime :). We will begin the study of Physical Science-
Matter this week in class.
Social St:
We are still exploring our government (the levels, branches)along with our
rights and responsibilites as citizens of this great land! Officer Kirby
will teach DARE during Social Studies on Thursday.
1. I hope everyone received my note in Friday Folders concerning my upcoming
absences the next 2 weeks. Please know that I will be checking my email,
etc each day. If you should need me, or have any concerns, please feel free
to email. I sure will miss the kiddos!
2.Due to these upcoming absences, the next date for Friday Folders (as well
as Two Week Check Ups) will be the week of Thanksgiving.
3. Students are to come to school in Standard School Attire each day unless
it is announced otherwise. There was some confusion last Friday. If
nothing is said on the Thursday announcements, then standard school attire
is expected on Friday.
4. I hope to see you at CSI night next Tuesday, Nov 17! It sure will be fun!
****Please Remember: Assignments other than quizzes/tests may be "re-done"
at home over the weekend and turned in Monday morning for an updated grade.
