My child never brings home any homework. Shouldn't they?

Students are generally given time in class to work on their assignments.
When an assignment is not finished in class, then it will become homework.

How can I know what is going on in my child's classes?

Talking to your child daily about school is a great start. If your student
has a tendency to forget things that they need to work on, their planner is
a valuable tool. Students are told each period what to write in these
planners. Your child also has to keep a notebook in my class that has their
notes and assignments. This is another good resource. You can also access
this web site for weekly updates.
