Objectives

Reading Comprehension:   We will discuss story elements:  characters, setting, genre, plot, and theme.

Reading Vocabulary:  We will use prefixes and suffixes to understand the meanings of
unfamiliar words.
           
Spelling:  We will spell words with the VCCCV pattern.
   We will put words in alphabetical order.

Language:   We will proofread sentences to correct grammatical mistakes.
                  
Writing:  We will identify the main idea in a text using graphic organizers.

Math:  We will review equivalent fractions. 
We will explore polygons, triangles, and quadrailaterals.
We will demonstrate the characteristics of 2 and 3-dimensional shapes.
We will identify lines, angles, line segments, and points.
