Dear Parents,
Welcome to Fourth Grade at Elzie Patton Elementary. Time will tell who I
have as my homeroom students and for other subjects. We are all anxious for
those results.
Please collect the box tops for Education throughout the summer and fall. We
will be collecting them and striving to win the popsicle party each nine
weeks. It is a great way to do something for our school without spending
extra money.
I will be sending home important information via email often. Also, I
have set up our classroom website. I update the website every week, sometimes
more often than that as information changes. I try to announce changes via
email. Please check often. I will not send forwards nor other “spam”, only
school related business. If you have email addresses where you want to
receive school news other than what you have sent to me, please let me know
so they can be added to our class distribution list.
Thank you for signing agenda’s every night. If you are not, this is
required by the Board of Education of Wilson County as a communication devise
between you and I.
Other reminders:
Remember to save box tops and Campbell Soup labels for the PTO.
If your child is a car rider, PLEASE place a sign in the front
passenger window with the whole name and grade of that child!!!!
Please be sure and sign your child's agenda every Monday through
Friday.
Lunch money should be sent in on Monday. Please include your
child's lunch code on the check. If your child forgets his/her lunch money
or lunchbox and you bring it to school, please take it to the office. If you
arrive before their lunch, they will get it. We go to lunch between 11:30
and 11:55. We will also have snack at 9:45. Please do not send candy and
sodas for snack. Water is the preferred drink for snack.
Any changes to the way that students are to go home needs to be made
prior to 1:30. A message may take a few minutes to be forwarded to my
message box so please do not wait to the last minute, or they may go home
the wrong way.
Thank you all so much for your support!
