The ESSENTIALS

Hi!  
This is my eighth year teaching in McMinn County.  I graduated from 
Cleveland State in 1997 with my Associate of Science degree.  I took 
some time off after I attended Cleveland State and joined the work force.  
I returned to school in 1999.  In 2001, I graduated from Tennessee 
Wesleyan College and received my teaching certificate.  In 2004, I earned 
my Master's degree in Instructional Leadership from Tennessee Tech.  
In June of 2005, my husband and I entered into the world of parenthood 
by welcoming our daughter, Lyla Beth, into the world.

My mission for my classroom is to create a learning environment where 
each child feels proud of their accomplishments.  I hope to provide 
many activities in which children find learning exciting and fun.
