I appreciate your support when it comes to discipline in our
classroom. I want our classroom to be the best learning adventure
it can be. In order for this to happen, there are rules for the
students to follow. I tell the students that behavior is their
choice - whether good or bad. And they have to take the
consequences - whether good or bad. If you have any questions or

CLASSROOM RULES |

Follow directions when given. |
|
|
|
|
Keep hands, feet, & unkind words to yourself. |
|
|
|
|
Raise your hand before speaking out in class. |
|
|
|
|
Always walk quietly in the hallway. |
|
|
|
|
CONSEQUENCES |
|
|
|
|
Written warnings are given before cards are pulled. |
|
|
|
|
Green card pulled = lose 10 minutes recess |
|
|
|
|
Green & yellow cards pulled = lose 15 minutes recess |
|
|
|
|
All cards pulled = lose 20 minutes recess |
|
|
|
|
Severe Clause - Note or phone call to parents or sent to principal. |
|
|
|
|
If a child defies a teacher, curses or purposefully injures another |
|
|
|
|
person, the severe clause will come into effect. The child will be |
|
|
|
|
removed from the situation and taken to a better area. |
|
|
|
|
Appropriate action will be taken for the situation. Parents are |
|
|
|
|
always immediately notified if the situation warrants a paddling. |

|
|
REWARDS |
|
|
|
|
Coupons are awarded daily if no cards are pulled. Chances for |
|
|
|
|
earning extra coupons are given throughout the day. All coupons |
|
|
|
|
go into a box & are drawn from the box once or twice a month for |
|
|
|
|
a chance to win a prize. |
|
|
|
|
All coupons not used go into a bigger container for our |
|
|
|
|
end-of-the-year drawing where over 100 big prizes are given away. |
