Our class has an ice cream account set up in the cafeteria. This
account works in the same way that your child's lunch account works. This
account was established in order to allow those students whose families
cannot afford to send in ice cream money each Friday to purchase an ice
cream. This fund is running low. If you would like to donate to this
account, please send money in a sealed envelope marked with your child's
name, my name, the amount of money enclosed, and the words, "Ice Cream
Account." We appreciate your generosity!

Attention: Due to Fall Break, we will not be doing Alphabet books and
Poetry Folders this week. Remember, schools are closed on Thursday, October
16th, and Friday, October 17th for fall break. Our schedule will resume as
usual on Monday, October 20th. Enjoy your Fall Break!

T-Shirt Time!
It is time to order your child’s class t-shirt! It is up to you
whether or not you order a shirt, however, let me encourage you. Each class
in our school chooses a color of shirt to represent their classroom. Our
color this year is light blue, just like our classroom walls. We wear our
shirts on field trips to make it easier to keep our group together. Also,
our class shirts are worn on field day to show team spirit. They are a good
value, and comfy! Please do consider this offer. Please send the form
(sent home with your child on Tuesday, October 7th)and money in a sealed
envelope marked with my name, your child’s name, the amount of money
enclosed, and the purpose for the money. You are also more than welcome to
order shirts for other members in your family to show support for our class
and school! Orders are due no later than Wednesday, October 15th.
