| Parents,
Check your child's folder to be sure he/she has his/her homework sheet
and reader. If your child has left those items at school, please bring
him/her back to school to get them.
Homework will be assigned each Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday night.
Homework (and incomplete class assignments) will need to be completed,
initialed by the parent in the upper right hand corner, and returned the
following day. Students are given plenty of time in class each day to
complete assignments. If your child is consistently bringing home incomplete
papers, please address his/her work habits and help him/her see the need to
be a responsible worker in the classroom. If the problem persists, please
call me for a conference. I will be happy to meet with you in person or talk
with you on the phone, whichever is best for you.
Please help your child master any concepts with which he/she is
struggling. Everyday builds on the previous day. Establishing a solid
foundation is essential for positive academic growth and building positive
self-esteem.
Thank you for helping your child learn responsibility this year in doing
homework assignments in a neat and timely fashion.
