Info about Mrs. Anderson

Hello! Welcome to keyboarding. This is my thirteenth year at Greenbrier
High School. In addition to teaching, Student Council also is a big part of
my life at GHS. I have been the advisor for thirteen years, and one
of my first StuCo presidents, Ms. Brandi Hutson, began teaching here at
GHS. She is now a StuCo advisor!! Mr. Jim Sorrells has served as a junior
advisor for the past two years. In addition to StuCo, I also am an
advisor for FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America). I also serve on the
Faculty Advisory Committee and the Crisis Management Team.

I grew up in Columbia, Tennessee and went to Freed-Hardeman and Harding
Universities. I then taught in Dallas, Texas for three years. After
marrying, we moved to Houston and lived in Clear Lake (by NASA) for three
years. After that we moved to Chattanooga (Ooltewah) for fifteen years
where I taught at Chattanooga Central.

In July of 1995 we moved back to Middle Tennessee and I have been at GHS
since the 1996 school year. During these time periods I also completed my
Master's degree, plus 30, Vocational certification and my computer
certification.

Mission For The Class

To develop basic skills in operating the keyboard. To teach students how to
operate the keyboard with dexterity and continuity using the touch method.
To teach students current business applications to enable the student to use
the skills for future employment, other classes and personal use.
