Hi! Thank you for viewing my web-page. This is my 10th year at the
Greeneville-Greene County Center for
Technology teaching Early Childhood Education Careers to 10, 11, and 12
grades. I majored in Home Economics at Appalachian State University in
Boone, N. C. My first teaching job was in Gaston County teaching Home
Economics Career Occupations to 7th, 8th, and 9th grade students. I taught
at Cramerton Junior High School for 5 years. I became at Nutrition Educator
for the Southeast United Dairy Council in Evansville, Indiana for 5 years.
Met my husband of 25 years in Indiana while with the Dairy Council. We are
blessed with 4 wonderful children. We moved to Tennessee in 1995 after
living in Franklinton, Louisiana for 3 years. I attend Mt. Tabor United
Methodist Church where I am an adult Sunday School teacher and youth
leader. It has been a joy and a great experience to teach early childhood
at the center. I hope that I can inprint my love of working with young
children to the students I teach.
To prepare students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become
employed in an career relating with young children or continue post-
secondary education in early childhood.
