We are in process of upgrading program to NATEF standards. This will be and ardous process,
but well worth it for the students. It will mean a tighter structured class and more manufacture
participation. We have always had good rapport with Lawson Chevrolet. They have donated us
several new vehicles over the years to use as authentic trainers. They also allow us to tour our
students through their facilities as needed and Lennie Lawson does a great job of giving us a
tour. He is a great benefit to our program. Also we have two members of their staff representing
them on our Technical Assistance Committee: Dale Kyker and Mike Moody, Mr. Moody has been on
board since 1994.

Natef application has been sent off and now await word of when evaluation for acceptance will
be,2-17-08.

4-23-08 Natef inspection and evaluation process to be completed tomorrow. Then wait for answer.
Will take dedicated student in program to meet new stanards of study as set forth by Natef.

Local Automobile dealers have taken a strong involvement in certification of program. I want to
thank Kent Bewley and all associates for their much needed involvement. They do take a strong
interest in the betterment of the school training programs. Parents be grateful for this fine
backing the schools get from these businessmen. Also many thanks for all the years of
partnership that Lawson Chevrolet has provided the program from tours to donated vehicles.
