I am in my 32nd year of teaching at Greeneville High School. I am teaching
Health class for 10th graders. I am the Asst. Athletic Director.
I graduated in 1973 from Greeneville High School, and graduated
from East Tennessee State University with a BS in Physical Education/Health
K-12 in 1977. I received my masters degree from Tusculum College in 2000.I am
a certified CPR, FIRST AID and AED instructor.I have 2 Eskie puppies that
are 6 months old, Gibby and Gunner.I have a gray cat named Greyson. So,
needless to say it is really lively around my house, but all the animals get
along great!Pets are special, because they show us unconditional love.
I now have a great nephew, named Kolby and he was born Easter day in
Colorado. He has been a great asset to our family! Also, I have a niece
Becky that has been battling cancer since Nov., and is now cured and can
begin her life again. My family is real special to me and we enjoy our times
together.
I try to make all my classes informative,as well as enjoyable. My goals for
the students are to have an understanding of the importance of good health,
and to set their lifetime goals for leading a healthy life. All students can
be successful, if they put for the effort in class.
Health has revealed that today's personal choices exert powerful influences
on tomorrow's health and illness, and even on life and death.
