B.E.E. Books

The B.E.E. Book is a three-ring notebook that your child will use everyday to develop organizational skills and learn responsibility. This book is a way of maintaining effective communication between home and school. It aims to eliminate lost notes, newsletters, calendars, and school work as well as
keep parents and students informed of important events and academic progress. So if you want to know what the "buzz" is in Mrs. Dana's Kindergarten class, check out your child's B.E.E. Book!!

Here's what you will find inside:
Important Notes:

This front pocket will be used to send notes to and from school. I will put all notes, handouts, and newsletters in this pocket. If you need to send me a note, this is also the pocket in the folder that it will be placed.
Monthly Calendar:
The first page in your child's B.E.E. book will be our monthly calendar. This calendar will list all of the important upcoming events plus it will also serve a daily conduct log.
Buzzing Good Homework Helpers:
The next section behind the monthly calendar, will be practice pages for review at home. At the beginning of the year, the practice pages will consist of alphabet, number, color, and shape recognition practice, but as the year progresses I will add sight words, blends, and word family pages. This is my favorite section of the folder because it allows you to have access to all of the skills your child will be learning in class.

Book Pouch:

This is a large pouch where AR books will be stored when we begin this program.
Money Pouch:

This smaller pouch will be found in the back of the folder. You will use this pouch to send lunch and snack money to school.
Beautiful Work Pocket:
The back pocket of the folder will be where all your child's school work
will be found. This pocket will need to be checked daily and emptied.
