Family, Career and Community Leadership of America
FCCLA is a nonprofit national career and technical student organization for
young men and women in Family and Consumer Sciences education in public and
private school through grade 12.
Everyone is part of a family and Family Career and Community Leaders of
America is the only national career and technical student organization with
the family as its central focus.
2011-2012 dues are $22 and have to be paid by August 29th to be eligible
to compete in the Flour Muffin Making contest at the TVA & I Fair on Sept.
12th. Dues include the cost of a tee shirt that will be worn to the TVA
&I Fair on Monday, September 12th,for competition.
Service projects for the 2011-2012 school year are:
(1) Adopt residents of Renaissance Terrace Care and
Rehabilitation Center for Christmas gifts
(2) Participate in Operation REACH to help underprivileged children
purchase gifts for their families for Christmas.
(3) Helping organize HHS clothes closet.
(4) Pressing tuxes for HHS Prom closet.
(5) Operation Christmas Child
