PowerPoints/Handouts page. This is a page that has PowerPoint presentations
that we've done in class to make foldables. This is a great way for your
child to make up this work without having to come in before or after school.
I will also occasionally put handouts on that page for students who are
absent. I hope this helps with the make-up work issue. If you have
questions, concerns, or suggestions, please let me know.***

Dear Parents and Guardians,
On Friday, November 13, 2009 we will be having our annual Heritage Middle
School Community Carnival. Your child should have received a letter about
this with report cards. There will be lots of food and fun for all ages.
Mrs. Terry and I will be running the “Temporary Tattoo and Nail Painting”
booth, and we are in need of two things. First, we need parents or other
family members to help us run the booth. Volunteers must be at least high
school age. Having volunteers will allow Mrs. Terry and me to have a break
from the booth to enjoy the carnival and have back up in case one of us ends
up in “jail”. And don’t worry about not knowing how to the tattoos. They
are extremely easy, and we will show you how to do them before we leave. If
you or another family member would be willing to assist us at the booth,
please indicate that below and return to me. If you do not hear from me,
just go ahead and come at the time that you indicate you can help. If I have
a lot of people for one time slot, I may have to see if I can reschedule some
volunteers to other times.
Secondly, we are in need of donations of fingernail polish and cotton balls.
If you have either of those things that you could donate, we would greatly
appreciate it. You can just send to school with your child and he/she can
give it to Mrs. Terry or me.
