Hello, my name is Jennifer McCay. Many of you may know me as Ms. Klipple,
however, on June 18, 2011 I married Donnie McCay. We had a beautiful ceremony
on an estate farm in Kentucky!
This will by my fifth year of teaching at Indian Lake and I couldn't be more
excited! The 2011-2012 school year is my seventh year of teaching. Prior to
teaching in Hendersonville, I lived and taught kindergarten near Destin, Florida.
Before teaching in Florida, I went to college in Kentucky at the University
of Louisville. While attending school, I rowed on the crew team. I left
Kentucky with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and a Masters of Arts in
Teaching.
I was born in Tucson, Arizona. I grew up as a "military brat", and
therefore had the ability to live in California and Colorado. My family
moved to Tennessee when I was in high school, and Tennessee quickly became
my home.
The pictures below show me in the 2nd grade as well as in China.
Interests:
I enjoy reading, playing games, shopping, cooking, baking, and walking. I
look forward to spending time with my Silky Terrier, Addyson. She just
turned two years old! I also enjoy time with family.
Inspired by my trip to China, I have started a small collection of
teas and tea pots. I enjoy finding my favorite flavors of tea to savor.
Currently, Jasmine and Earl Gray are ranked in the top.
I truly look forward to all the adventures a school year brings.
Pictures from beautiful Colorado!
My mission for the class is to work in a cooperative community that promotes
a love for education. One that is engaging, fun, and full of learning that
will help to prepare each student with keys for being productive community
members.
Are you living above the line?
