HOMEWORK:
STUDY THE MULTIPLICATION BASIC FACTS through the 12's daily. The MATH LOG is
to be completed and turn in the last day of the school week.
THE WEEK OF AUGUST 9TH: Happy Birthday to Thomas! August 8th Birthday.
The students enjoyed the cookie treat, Thomas!
MATH STUDENTS are continuing to practice the basic multiplication facts. In
class we are emphasizing he 3's. Each week we will work on one fact family at
school, but at home the student is to study all the facts.
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 11TH:
MATH: Students are to study the basic multiplication facts.
SPELLING: Study your spelling words.
TUESDAY, AUGUST 10TH: If you have not paid your $40 supply, please do so as
soon as possible. If you haven't paid the supply fee for this year, I have
written a reminder in your child's agenda. Thanks to all the parents who paid
the supply fee at the end of last year or since the start of this school year.
MATH: Numbers that Name You. Please write all the numbers that name you on
the worksheet in your binder. (Birthdate/House Number/Favorite Number.....
SPELLING: ABC Order is due on Wednesday. Study your spelling words each
night. Study all 25 spelling words.
MONDAY, AUGUST 9TH:
MATH HOMEWORK: Students headed a piece of notebook paper in class to be used
for homework. Students are to find and cut out a number from a magazine, a
newspaper, or even via a printout from the computer and glue or tape the
number on the notebook paper. Tomorrow the student will read the number and
will use the number glued/taped to the notebook paper to make a "human"
number line.
SPELLING HOMEWORK: Students are to neatly write all 25 spelling words in ABC
order. ABC Order will be due on Wednesday.
