I am married to Carl S. Davis, an Internal Auditor with Central Parking
System. I have two beautiful daughters. Clarissa is fourteen years old and
in her first year of high school at Mt. Juliet High School. I still cannot
believe I have a Freshman in high school! Mahaliah is ten years old and in
the Fifth Grade here at Lakeview. I can't believe my baby is in her last year
here with me!
I received my Bachelor of Science degree and my Masters of Education degree
both from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville. My family and I are
actively involved in our home church, Hermitage Church of the Nazarene.
This is my thirteenth year of teaching. I taught Kindergarten for
seven years. In previous years, I have taught first, second and fourth
grades. This is my second year to teach first grade again.
And yes...I love to decorate my classroom in frogs!!
It is my mission for our class that everyone be able to learn.
I want the classroom to be a loving, warm and inviting place the children
want to be. It is my sincere desire that my students know I love them and
enjoy being with them. Children learn best where there is love, a pleasant
environment, structure and a routine.
