How can I help my child?

Check their homework and have them make corrections. Check daily graded work
as it comes home in Take Home folders. Students may correct and get extra
credit for scores under 70, grade will be raised to as high as 70 with
corrections made and Parent's signature on paper. Have them return to
teacher. Test score grades will not be raised with corrections. Read with
your child and encourage independent reading. Practice math facts with them,
drill them on their facts.

How often do they have homework?

Daily with the exception of Fridays. They should be Reading at least 15
minutes nightly. Students need to review math facts and study Spelling words
as frequently as needed for mastery. We have a Spelling test every Friday.
Students will also take either a Social Studies or Science test weekly
depending on the topic covered in Adventure Time.
