Well, we sure have had a lot of snow this semester and now it's coming to a
close! We had a great time at the cup stacking tournament on Feb 10th and all
our team members did well, but we had some do well enough to place. In 3rd
grade, Sydney McCormick placed 2nd overall and lost by 1/100th of a second!
Congratulations Sydney! Our 4th grade relay team came in 4th overall. The
members of that team are: Amber Ehrhart, Amanda Nolen, Carly Hinkle and
Lauryn Heitmeier, great job girls! And in 5th grade Katie Schultz placed 4th
overall and Hallie Brown placed in the top ten.Congratulations to you girls,
too!The other members of our teams are; 3rd grade-Maddy Lankford, Harrison
Noffsingerr and Hailey Kasten. 5th grade- Trey Pruitt and Jordan Holeman.
They all represented Lakeview well and maybe you can be on the team someday,
too!
We have 27 students that will be running in the Country Music Marathon in
April and about 35 students are running every day after school to get in
shape and prepare for the race. Now we just need some warm weather!
We all enjoyed watching the Winter Olympics and cheering our Team USA on to
gold, silver and bronze medals.
Semester 3 is now coming to a close and we look forward to our 2 week
Spring Break. See you all soon. Enjoy your time off, be safe and get plenty
of play time and exercise!
