Progress Reports will go out through first block class on Wednesday,
Feb. 10, 2010.
I will also give art students a progress report listing each assignment
and the grade the student made on that assignment. Please note the we have
only been in class 15 days and the first 4 days in an art one class are
diagnostic drawing days. These days are so the student and I can assess what
thier technical abilities are at the beginning of the term.
Because we have been out for so many snow days we are short a lot of grades
for this progress report and therefor may not be a good representation of
your childs abilities and work habits.
Every few weeks I will print out an updated progress report and send home
with your child.
PLEASE SIGN AND HAVE YOUR CHILD RETURN THE PROGRESS REPORT BY THE END OF
THE WEEK FOR A 100 POINT RESPONSIBILITY GRADE.
1. There is a $20.00 art fee for all visual art classes. Please see supply
list for more information.
2. The agenda for the week is always written on the board in the classroom.
The student is asked to copy this down each Monday. If the student is absent
during the week he/she will have an idea what is being missed on that date in
class. Parents can check with the students each Monday to see what is
happening in class that week.
* note: the agenda is not written in stone. Things happen on a weekly basis
that cause the agenda/lesson plan to change.
