The 2009-2010 school year will be my fifth in the classroom. I am very excited about this
accomplishment! I have taught Kindergarten all 5 years. I attended Byars Dowdy when I was in
Kindergarten and think it is a WONDERFUL school!
I am originally from Watertown, but have lived here in Lebanon for almost 6 years. My husband Chase
and I met while attending college. We were married recently and are working on renovating our new
house with our poodle, Rusty.
My mission for the 2009-2010 school year is for every child to develop the skills needed to be a
successful reader and writer. I also want to put a focus on real life math skills and hope to develop
knowledge of science and the world through hands on activities and exploration. I desire for my
students to have rich experiences in the arts. I want to encourage my students to become responsible
and caring individuals both in and out of the classroom.
