Ms. Vaughn has taught English as a Second Language for over 20 years in New
York, Florida, and now Tennessee. She has taught all ages, from adults to
Kindergarten.She loves to study and teach cultures and languages. She holds
a Masters of Education Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the
University of Florida. She is also a National Boards Certified Teacher, the
first and still the only one in Tennessee for ENL/ Adolescent-Young Adult.
Ms. Vaughn is now the Lebanon
Special School DIstrict ESL Specialist, meaning she assists the other ESL
teachers in the district in ESL methods,strategy and planning.SHe is the
coordinator/facilitator of the COmmunity Involvement through Education and
Literacy Organization (C.I.E.L.O.),and also teaches Classroom Spanish for
Tennessee Technical University.
Debbie lives in Lebanon. Her hobbies are fishing, quilting, and
traveling. She went to Mexico, England, and Ireland in 2005, and Spain
summer 2006 to study language and culture. Ask her to see the pictures

Sra. Vaughn ha ensenado ingles de una idioma segunda para mas que 20 anos en
Nueva York, Florida, y ahora en Tennessee. Ha ensenado a todas las edades:
los adultos hasta el kinder. Le encanta estudiar y ensenar las culturas y
las idiomas. Ella tiene una Masteria en Educacion desde la Universidad de
Florida y es la unica Maestra en Tennessee tener el titulo "Certificacion
National". Ahora esta la "Especialista" del Districto, ayudando a los otros
maestros para ensenar ESL.
Tambien,Sra.Vaughn ensena 'ingles para sobrevivir' en "C.I.E.L.O.", cada
martes y jueves en la biblioteca de Castle Heights, 6:00-7:30. Cuido de
ninos esta disponible....Venga para estudiar con ella!
Le gusta pescar, coser, y viajar. Llame a decirle "Hola!" Ella fue a Espana
en el verano para estudiar la cultura y el idioma de Espana. Preguntele
