Poetry folders are coming home today, (Monday, August 15). Please read with your child and sign the front to return to school. We have highlighted words that they should know. There is a 'tracker' in the back to help them track their poem as they read. IT IS OK IF THEY HAVE MEMORIZED THE POEM. This is a beginning reading stage. They should however be able to read the highlighted words and if they can read the whole thing...WOW!
