Happy Friday! We have had another busy week. We have been learning about the letters t, b and f. In math we finished up our unit on sorting. Next week we will focus on the letters m and n. In math we will focus on the numbers 1 and 2.
We had so much fun with our bears this week! Thanks for allowing them to visit our classroom. I will post pictures of our bear activities on our classroom web page (www.samhouston.us). Pictures will be up by Sunday.
Fundraiser information went home in agenda books yesterday. Orders and money will be due on Thursday, September 8th. If you have any questions or need additional order forms, let me know.
Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 24th for the 4th Annual Think Green Think Clean Litter Challenge! Support our school and help us clean up our neighborhood. The challenge will be held from 9-11 a.m. Each participant will receive a free t-shirt! I will send home more information next week…I hope you will come out and support our school!
We have a wonderful opportunity to get two new items for our classroom this year! Sonic and DonorsChoose.org are once again working together to grant items to school classrooms. With your help, we have a chance to “win” a new easel and a new classroom rug.
There are two ways to help our classroom…
1. Cast your vote. Go to limeadesforlearning.com and vote for our project. It’s very easy to do…you can vote once a day for each email address you have. Email votes count as one vote.
2. Make a purchase at Sonic and receive a vote code worth two votes on your bag sticker.
