I can statements
I can statements are what we will use at Sam Houston to let our students and parents know what we will be learning about in class each day. I can statements will be posted at all times in my classroom. I will also post some of our I can statements on my website weekly so that you as a parent can know what we are learning about in class.
Math: I can read and recognize numbers from millions to millionths.
I can use exponents to create a number.
Writing: I can use a graphic organizer.
Language: I can use quotation marks in a sentence with a direct quote.
Social Studies: I can locate a U.S. city using latitude and longitude.
Reading: I can identify the character and plot of a story.
