WELCOME TO MRS. STROUD'S CLASS!!!
Dear Parents,
I want to welcome you to the first 2nd grade class at Castle Heights! I am
very excited about this new beginning, and about meeting my new group of
children!
This will be my 12th year teaching, 11 in the Lebanon Special School
District. Mr. Trice gave me my first job teaching 5th grade several years
ago. Since then I have taught 3rd grade for 5 years and this will be my 6th
year teaching 2nd.
My husband is a police officer with the Lebanon Police Department, and my
daughter will be in the 8th grade at Walter J. Baird Middle School. She
plays volleyball and dances on the dance team, which I coach.
I know how important family life is, so I will try to preserve yours as much
as possible. I believe children need time to play sports and enjoy free
time, so I will try to keep homework time to 30 minutes each night, including
their reading.
