Hello! My name is Julie Walker. This year will begin my 15th year of
teaching. I have taught 1st grade,
Pre-K, and 4th grade. I am married and
have 3 children. Trey is 20 and in college at Vol State. Cody is 15 and a
freshmen at Friendship Christian. Lexi is 7 and in 2nd grade at Southside
this year. (Yes, what an age span!) I am
very excited about another new school year and to be working with your

My mission is simply to teach each child as much as I possibly can in a
nurturing, safe, and caring
environment. Children are a gift that I get to share with you! I want my
classroom to be a place where
they are comfortable to succeed, fail, try new things, and ask questions.
They each learn in their own
way and that is part of what makes them special.
