Homework

Each week your child will bring home a newsletter with all the information
about what will be happening in our classroom. The newsletter will include
ideas for easy activities that you can do at home with your children to
reinforce those concepts we are working on at school.

It is also very important that you read with and to your child every night.
By spending 10-15 minutes reading a book each night, your child is able to
learn the concepts of reading such as turning pages and reading from left to
right.
Your child can also work on comprehension as you discuss what you are
reading together. Allow your child to ask you questions about words or
concepts from
the reading. This is a great opportunity to spend time together and learn
early reading behaviors. Your help is greatly appreciated! You are your
child's greatest teacher!
