| WELCOME TO PRE-K! I look forward to sharing this year with your child! We will have many
exciting learning experiences to enjoy! My goal this year is to help prepare your child for the school
years that are ahead of him or her. When your child leaves my classroom, I want him/her to feel
confident, successful, and happy.
As you know, children learn in many different ways. I will attempt to create an environment in
which each child is able to enjoy success by actively participating in hands-on activities, communicating
in written format, and be involved in activities to develop and enhance literacy and phonological
awareness skills. They will also be learning how to get along with others, practicing responsibility, and
learning how to show respect for themselves and others.
Parents are a very important part of the Pre-K classroom! Feel free to ask questions, visit our
classroom, or join us for lunch! You are always welcome!
